eSIM compatibility

Hey Travellers, before you purchase your eSIM, have a check below to see if your phone is eSIM-ready :

IPHONE APPLE

Navigate to Settings -> Cellular (or Mobile Data).
If you see options like ‘Add Cellular Plan’ or ‘Add Mobile Plan’, your phone has eSIM support.

Go to Settings -> Networks & Internet -> SIMs -> ‘+Add more’.
For users of Pixel 3/3a or a newer model, this option should appear, which indicates eSIM compatibility.

***Important Exceptions***

Certain models have exceptions based on specific models and markets. Devices locked to operators: If your device is tied to a particular carrier due to a contract, it must be unlocked before you can use the eSIMS available on our platform.

iPhone:

Models designed for the Chinese market feature two physical SIM card slots and lack eSIM support. If your iPhone accommodates two physical SIM cards, eSIM usage won’t be possible.

Samsung:

In some markets and specific model variations, Samsung limits eSIM functionality through software restrictions. Always check individual phones by navigating to Settings -> Connections -> SIM Card Manager. If the ‘Add Mobile Plan’ tab is visible in the eSIMs section, eSIM usage is supported.

Devices locked to carriers:

If your device is locked to a particular carrier due to a contract, it must be unlocked before you can use the eSIMs available on our platform
